Who owns and operates Lakeshore Swim Club?

Lakeshore Swim Club is owned by its members and is operated by a Board of Directors elected by its members. The election of the Board happens each year at the Annual Members meeting. Day to day management of the pool during the summer is provided by a hired staff of lifeguards. The Pool Chair supervises the life guarding staff.

Where do my membership fees go?

The biggest expense for the pool is the lifeguard staff. Next is regular maintenance of the pool itself, which includes opening and closing of the pool, chemical supplies, repair and upkeep of the pumps and other equipment. Other expenses include insurance, utilities and supplies. Money is set aside for capital improvements to the pool and building.

Additional information and policies can be found in our Registration Packet For New Members or by contacting us.
