We are still short about $1,500.
Ken Scott said he talked with someone at the Sabatini Foundation and told them we were short $2,500. They said if we can get them a letter they more than likely will donate it. Kristy will type up a letter and get it to them. Everyone wants to ask for an extra $1,000 for chairs and repairs.
We had quite a few people say they would be willing to make a donation. Elliott’s-$100, Waechter’s-$100, Ready’s-$100, Conroy’s-$100, Wilcox-$100, Nincehelser-$100 and Magistro-$35.00
The Majority thinks we should just go ahead and open and hope we can get enough money to open.
The website needs updated and the Facebook page needs fixed so it doesn’t say “Permanently Closed”–Kristy will email Kerry Kile to update website and continue working on fixing the Facebook page.
It was decided that we would make Tues 5/31 a work night from 4-9pm. Kristy will send an email asking anyone that wants to come help clean the pool up so we could start filling. We will tentatively open on Monday June 6th with Lifeguards starting that day. We will also have everyone hold off on giving any donations and we will reevaluate at the end of August.
