Lake Shore Swim Club Agenda

Sunday November 6th, 2016

4:00pm at Michelle’s

  1. Roll Call: Barbara, Kelly, Michelle, Heather, Laura, Rick and Ken.
  2. Approval of Minutes: Motioned by Heather and 2nd by Laura.
  3. Reports:
    1. President: Move forward with the new year and work with improve new membership
    2. Secretary: Youtube and files from Kristy were received.
    3. Treasurer:
    4. Maintenance: No money for repairs have been received yet. We will follow up with the treasurer to see about getting an advance payment and then providing receipts. Westar needs to replace the lights. Decon put down to control the mice.
  4. Old business:
    1. Donations to schools: Laura will take care of gift certificates for elementary school in the Shawnee Heights District.
    2. Ball field flyers: flyers at the businesses. Casey’s, Posted at the Ball field, and the Dock.
    3. Sign for the slide: Barbara will make a plate for the slide and a sign for the fence.
    4. New sign for the street: Take sign out now. New sign needed in the future.
    5. Life guard stand: CCA and painted with special paint- Laura and Rick will take of this project.
    6. New memberships options: We discussed using square as a form of payment. Spoke with Dustin about adding it to the website. We could use it with little effort.
    7. Early discount if paid before the season: tabled
    8. Free book Library: Kelsey- will do a free book library. Need to follow up with Kelsey before library is installed.
    9. New sign for the gate: old sign will be removed and Ken will contact 911 dispatch for contact information.
  5. New business:
    1. Facebook: who has the password and administrative rights? Michelle will email Kristi
    2. Checks for Ken and Dustin: Michelle will contact Karla to determine if checks have been sent to Ken and Dustin.
    3. Square: Has a store and a product page. We could make invoices through square. Rick will check out the invoices.
    4. Mowing as needed: Ken will do a write up for Ellis Dahl.
    5. Master lock will be rekeyed: Ken.
    6. Life guard stand- needs to be unusable when lifeguard is not on duty.
    7. Key deposit ideas: $10.00 key deposit with a key drop at the pool. Add to pool contract that keys will be returned.
    8. Fee for Pool will remain the same: Kelly motioned and Rick 2nd.
  6. Next Meeting: To be held at the Landing date to be announced.
